12x12x2 inches, framed in acrylic.

Hey Ho, Let’s Go! Growing up very close to NYC in the seventies you couldn’t turn on the radio without hearing the Ramones. This is one of their early albums and is one of their best, it was released in the year of punk rock, 1977. The album has classics like Sheena is a punk rocker and Rockaway Beach. I wanted to completely cover the black and white illustration of the band in thread so that’s what I did.  The album has 6 colors of black, white and shades of gray thread and over 100,000 hand placed stitches to completely cover the album. I then embroidered the bands logo in spiral yarn stitched in neon pink.

Shipping calculated at checkout.

The albums take up to 8 hours to embroider and can contain over 200,000 stitches. The series is created and designed to be hung together so you can add to your installation wall as you discover new pieces I create. Each of the albums comes with a signed certificate and is framed in acrylic and measures 12" x 12" x 2".
