The St Elmo’s Fire piece is based on a Telecaster style guitar and it was embroidered in a red flame color. The background uses up-cycled Album covers that were collaged and embroidered into a vibrant background. Rolling Stones album covers were specifically chosen for this piece.
The guitar is embroidered with over 200,000 stitches and mounted in relief over the background.
