Works from the Disorder series include dozens of sewing, embroidery,
painting, and sculptural techniques to form the finished work of art.
These pieces feature embroidery on everything from luxury fashion
fabrics to boxes. Each of the diffe ent design elements are mounted on
miniature wooden frames and pieced together to form the larger collage.
The Disorder series is a true exploration of techniques and engineering
heavily influenced by pop art and the American crafts movement. There
are quite a few diffe ent types of Disorder works, including Pop Art pieces
that feature icons like Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe, to flag
and abstracts.
