This was their big follow up album to Back in Black and it did not disappoint. The album is full of stadium anthems and hard driving hits. I remember going to this concert with my uncle and when the cannons came out during “For Those About to Rock” it shook the arena and it was amazing to see. The album artwork is a bronze metallic background with a black cannon in the center with their iconic logo above it. I wanted to do something cool with the background so I created my own yarn from multiple strands of metallic bronze thread. I then embroidered a background of geometric lines surrounding silhouettes of Angus Young’s Iconic SG. The guitars create a dimensional background pattern for the cannon to be embroidered on. The canon was stitched in rayon thread and the logo was created as a patch and mounted onto the album at the end.
