Creating a new piece is always a surprise for me. Even though extensive planning goes into every piece they often wind up as a surprise. This is what happened with this new Painted Bronco. I found the perfect LV scarf to use as an applique. I created a tonal bandana pattern for the background and then created an embroidered padded applique for the horse. When I placed them together, it was magical. These will be very limited due to the availability of the scarves.
This is a new piece that I have been planning for months. The secret drawer is an embroidered luxury box that gives you a peek to reveal what is inside. The first thing that I did was to embroider through the actual box itself, which is no easy task. I embroidered a traditional toile floral in shades of orange and chocolate. The next step was to completely embroider a floral tapestry and line the box with the custom designed fabric. Luxury scarves, more embroidered fabric and of course, embroidered butterflies were added to further embellish the design. Everything was assembled in a three dimensional collage over matte board to maker the final presentation. Due to the unique nature of the boxes and scarves used, each Secret Drawer is unique.
The Dior Amour piece is also new. I created this piece for an upcoming exhibition in Paris in September. The background is created with Dior shopping bags that have been collaged and embroidered in a delicate floral pattern. Amour was embroidered using a pink toile de jouy scarf that is mounted in relief. The butterflies were embroidered using the border of the silk scarf This piece is going to Paris but I can create another for you.
Because I use luxury bags in the creative process, I wanted to recreate a shopping bag with this piece. It begins with a luxury bag that is deconstructed, embroidered and then reconstructed back into a bag shape. Embroidered fabrics are draped and mounted so they appear to be flowing out of the top. Embroidered butterflies are then dimensionally mounted. They can be created using most luxury brands and color combinations depending on availability.

The toile embroidery is stitched directly through the Hermes luxury box in multiple layers of hand sketched thread. The embroidered butterflies are added to the background in relief.
The Aspen cowboy hat has been updated with new options. There are now new colors, new embroidered playing cards, new sayings and new hat bands. You can make yuour cowboy hats even more custom now.
The Disco Ball has been requested for a while and we thought it would be a fun addition to the line. The background is a luxury shopping bag that is embroidered with retor stars. The Disco Ball is stitched in multiple shades of metallic thread and mounted in relief off of the background.
