This piece intricately fuses vintage Western iconography with a modern take on upcycled luxury. The background is a compelling canvas—a deconstructed Louis Vuitton duffel bag, meticulously wrapped and mounted in a layered relief over a matte board. At the heart of the work, a monumental bull emerges, painstakingly stitched with over half a million threads in sumptuous shades of blue, steel, lavender, and caramel, infusing it with depth and vitality. Through days of precise embroidery, the bull was expertly hand-trimmed and mounted on clear acrylic, creating a striking three-dimensional relief that dramatically contrasts against the vintage fabric backdrop. This fusion of craftsmanship and reimagined luxury invites a dialogue between history, materiality, and contemporary art.
