The canvas for the Kinky Boot is created by embroidering dozens of luxury shopping bags, all hand trimmed before being placed into a pattern. The boot is created by hundreds of embroidered elements collaged together to form a multi-layered montage of textures and colors. There are flowers created with luxury brand silk scarves, lace embroidered flowers, as well as embroidered butterflies. Over 600 individually created elements are layered to form the boot with exquisite dimension.
