The Evil Eye piece was inspired by the Hamsa, which has been one of my favorite pieces over the years. I was inspired by the traditional evil eye and decided to add more detail to this iconic symbol. There are multiple dimensions and layers to this piece. In the mandala around the eye you will find multiple symbols and talismans woven into the background pattern. The background for the 12” size is made using a single luxury bag or box that is embroidered directly through to create a surface design.
