The Butterfly Swarm pieces are staples for any installation, now in a deluxe version. The background, which is inspired by vintage American quilts, was made by cutting luxury brand shopping bags into strips, embroidering them using geometric patterns stitched in luxurious wool/cashmere blend thread, and then piecing them together edge to edge. Embroidered butterflies mounted in relief, crafted individually for each piece.
