Collection: Gypsy

All of the gypsy pieces share a common essence, whether they are a petite 5”x5” creation or a sprawling 56”x56” horse. Each piece is thoughtfully crafted through collage and assemblage, incorporating a variety of elements with the Gypsy Flowers as the central motif. Our studio operates on the principles of upcycling and sustainability; whenever we use luxury scarves for larger projects, all remnants are carefully preserved and repurposed into Gypsy Flowers or Pom-Poms. These flowers are crafted in numerous sizes and shapes, including embroidered, lace, patches, and butterflies.

The largest component of a gypsy piece measures around 6”x6”, while the smallest is under half an inch. After embroidery and trimming, the elements are sorted by color. I begin with a silhouette of the intended design, gradually layering flowers and diverse materials, blending styles and hues to create something entirely unique. I love how the intricate patterns, vibrant colors, and varied textures meld into a swirling tapestry. Up close, each piece reveals a wealth of detail, making every gypsy creation truly one of a kind.
